Surro Strong® Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing direct financial assistance to current and former gestational surrogates facing unanticipated health challenges and health-related costs - including for postpartum support and unexpected pregnancy-related expenses.

Funded by 100% of the net profits from sales of Surro Strong® merchandise and accessories, along with additional fundraising from the Surro Social™ community, intended parents, surrogacy professionals, and other generous supporters, our financial grants will directly support qualifying surrogates facing unanticipated health challenges and health-related costs, including for postpartum support and unexpected pregnancy-related expenses.
Surro Strong Foundation, along with Surro Strong® and Surro Social, was founded by Amanda and Aaron, two forever-grateful IPs.
Our goal is simple: when a surrogate requires postpartum or other health-related financial assistance, we–the Surro Strong community–will have her back.

Eligibility
To qualify for a grant from the Surro Strong Foundation:
- You must be a current gestational surrogate (pregnant, postpartum or between journeys) or a former gestational surrogate whose last journey ended within the prior two (2) years.
- You are facing significant health challenges personally or within your immediate family and suffering an out-of-pocket financial burden as a result.
- A licensed medical professional must provide your or your immediate family member’s diagnosis and current health condition.
- You must fully complete and submit the application, including providing requested supporting documentation.
Supporting Documentation:
Proof of Surrogacy Status
- Letter from IVF clinic or surrogacy agency confirming applicant served as a gestational carrier (including relevant dates of embryo transfer and (if applicable) delivery); OR
- Copies of (A) medical records providing relevant dates, i.e., (a) embryo transfer and (b) date of delivery (if applicable); and (B) GC Agreement
Proof of Health Burden
- Letter from licensed medical professional providing applicant’s (or applicant’s immediate family member’s) diagnosis and describing: current health status, treatment plan, and additional relevant facts and circumstances.
Proof of Financial Burden
- Medical receipts/invoices showing out-of-pocket medical costs
- Letters/correspondence from health insurer (as applicable) showing denial or limiting of coverage/reimbursements
- Estimates of go-forward medical expenses provided by licensed medical professional and/or applicant’s health insurer
- Your and your spouse’s (if applicable) most recent W2
